About You
The internship is for an accounting graduate who is looking to progress their career within internal audit. You are passionate about audit and keen to explore learning opportunities within a private large organisation. Attention to detail as well as ability to deal with large data sets will be of utmost importance, while experience within data analytics will be extremely beneficial.
Learning Outcome
In addition to the specified learning outcomes of this program you will be involved with the planning stages of scoping an audit and verifying that key areas have been captured and considered, as well as end-to-end internal audit functions of planning, fieldwork and reporting processes. You will gain exposure to data analytics within a large company and develop your relationships building skills as you interact with different teams and stakeholders. During the Work Integrated Learning internship placement you will be under the mentorship of the Head of Internal Audit.

About You
This is for an accounting graduate looking to join a corporate environment in which to develop both their technical and communication skills. The preferred student will have a high level of attention to detail, ability to work well within a large team and be proactive with time management and prioritising tasks. Previous experience will not be necessary but what’s needed is a good attitude with a strong desire to learn.
Learning Outcome
In addition to the specified learning outcomes of this program, with the Financial Accountant as your mentor you will receive training and opportunities to practice a number of different functions including the preparation of invoices, assisting in weekly bank reconciliations/balance sheets and tracking processes through the financial accounting system. Throughout the Work Integrated Learning placement other ad hoc projects will be open to you so you gain exposure to other teams and can broaden your understanding of how businesses function.

About You
This is for a finance graduate with an understanding of key accounting concepts, particularly in management reporting. Confidence to ask key questions and excellent communications skills are essential.
Learning Outcome
In addition to the specified learning outcomes of this program you will gain an understanding of the financial functions of the organisation including the financial data required to manage performance and business KPIs. You will participate in key business meetings and liaise with stakeholders to interpret business plan information. You will collate business information including daily sales reports and monthly results and send them out to various departments for review/feedback. You will gain an understanding of the accounting processes and learn to review monthly end results and the impact of accruals. You will learn to review and manage marketing costs and have exposure to various data, system and marketing projects to learn associated project management, costing and reporting.
